As a Senior Manager Key Account Aircraft Charter 777F Fleet, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Identify charter sales leads and opportunities in the long-haul market with a focus on current and evolving business segments
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers such as forwarders, integrators, online retailers and marketplaces
  • Develop the capacity/flight network requirements with customers and find schedule solutions with internal interfaces
  • Design, price, negotiate and close long-term charter contracts
  • Coordinate and communicate the establishment of new charter projects with relevant internal and external interfaces
  • Represent the leading European air cargo brand with partners, at industry fairs or at customer forums

Lufthansa Cargo Headquarters

Our office is located in the Lufthansa Cargo Headquarters on the Lufthansa base directly at Frankfurt Airport and can be reached quickly and easily by public transport. Car parking facilities and a canteen are also available.

You should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor degree (Master degree and/or logistic focus desirable)
  • 3 years or more in: Key account management and/or aircraft/freighter charter contracting (ACMI - aircraft, crew, maintenance, insurance) e.g. at a cargo airline or in capacity procurement/planning at an integrator or eCommerce company
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, a strong bias for action, and a love for finding solutions and seeking to deliver impactful results
  • Proven track record of working in cross-functional organizations, accepting responsibility for the commercial success of the business segment while simultaneously providing a best-in-class customer experience
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Authenticity in any cultural setting
  • Fluent in business English, German skills are beneficial
