Join our flight safety team in our endeavor to model & analyze the risk landscape of SWISS. As part of the larger Protection Management department, you will gain insights into security, investigation, flight data monitoring, and compliance while collaborating with our data insights and analytics team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our risk management efforts by developing and implementing a unified risk framework. Your work will involve both reactive and predictive risk tools, enabling SWISS to enhance operational insights and decision-making processes.

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the risk landscape at SWISS
  • Conduct a literature review on existing methods for unified risk modelling
  • Develop a model that integrates data from reactive and predictive risk tools
  • Implement the concept with the support of the data insights and analytics team
  • Visualize and evaluate the model using existing data
  • Contribute to R&D of flight safety, security and risk management concepts

  • HF diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s students or graduates (HF diploma & Bachelor’s students must have completed at least three semesters) with an analytical focus (mathematics, economics, data science, …)
  • Experience in programming and fluency in at least one language (e.g. SQL, Python, R, …)
  • Interest in data modeling and visualization (previous experience with Tableau preferable)
  • Self-motivation and reliability
  • Very good spoken and written English skills
