Your main tasks include, among others:
- Perform Quality Control inspection duties related to engines, module, teardown, build up, routine inspections and return to service of individual components, sub assembly’s and engines
- Uses precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.) as needed
- Creates and maintains MES maintenance documents and paperwork as needed
- Reads and interprets engine manuals, aircraft manuals and work orders to perform required duties
- Detects errors and corrects through proper departmental channels
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements
- Works closely with Engineering, EOC, Document Control and mechanics to insure timely completion of each event
- Incoming and outgoing Bore Scope Inspections

The ideal A&P Line Inspector (Mobile Engine Services) must fulfill the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical training or two or more years of related experience
- FAA Powerplant Certificate is required (FAA A&P is preferred)
- Commercial aviation engine experience preferred
- Ability to effectively use the English language, both oral and written, to communicate with others
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Problem analysis and problem resolution
- Must be a strong team player
- Commitment to company values and ethics
- Must be able to operate a computer and printer
- Ability to observe details at close range
- Frequently lifts and moves boxes or parts weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must be willing to work shifts
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
