An internship in the office of the Vice President Area Management Home Markets is the perfect opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of Lufthansa Group's B2B sales processes from a senior management perspective.

  • Planning, organizing and supporting meetings, events and conferences and ensure proper follow-up
  • Research, preparation, content development and design of speeches and presentations for the different stakeholders
  • Conducting research, creating content, and ensuring that information is consistent for both internal and external communication
  • Supporting the office team with daily and ad-hoc organizational and administrative based tasks
  • As part of the internship, you can expect further exciting tasks and projects

The Area Management Home Markets is responsible for the regional B2B sales of the Lufthansa Group. We act as ambassadors of the Lufthansa Group towards our trade partners such as travel agencies, tour operators, and travel management companies.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with interest in the aviation and touristic industry. You have successfully completed your 3rd semester of studies.

  • You are enrolled during the entire period of the internship (current enrollment certificate and certificate of mandatory internship must be attached to the application) or you aim for an internship between your Bachelor and Master program (Gap Year)
  • You are a creative and good communicator
  • You perform well in a fast-paced environment handling a multitude of topics simultaneously
  • You possess the ability to familiarize yourself quickly with new tasks and circumstances, organize yourself, and are a quick learner
  • You are proficient in the usage of common Microsoft Office 365 tools, especially Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint and Word. Knowledge of SharePoint is a plus
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. German is a plus, but not a prerequisite
