As an Airfreight Expert (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the following tasks, among others:

  • Documentary handling of air freight shipments in the import and export sector
  • Logistical and documentary handling of special cargo, such as dangerous goods or airmail
  • Being responsible for the evaluation of operational data and its routine processing
  • Being the contact person for our customers
  • Carrying out billing activities in the division
  • Using various internal IT systems and Office applications

Our fleet

Our fleet includes state-of-the-art Boeing 777Fs and Lufthansa Passenger Airlines bellies. We also use the belly freight capacities of our partners' passenger aircraft. And at zero altitude, our Road Feeder Service (RFS) ensures the onward transportation of freight on the ground - worldwide.

You are a responsible team player and sometimes jump in at the deep end? Then also check the following requirements:

  • Completed vocational training (preferably in freight forwarding and logistics) and ideally practical experience in logistics/air freight
  • Knowledge of customs, aviation security and dangerous goods as well as experience in the documentary handling of air freight shipments or airline handling are an advantage
  • Customer and solution-oriented way of working as well as high service orientation
  • Advanced knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Very good knowledge of German desirable
  • Commitment, initiative, ability to work in a team, ability to work under pressure and stress resistance
  • Good communication skills and enjoy working with people
  • Confident handling of Microsoft Office products
  • Willingness and ability to work in shifts (early/late/night)
  • Results-oriented thinking and acting
