Your main tasks include, among others:
- Receive complex customer requests for worldwide time critical transport and emergency logistic services
- Follow up on proposals and thereafter be responsible for a smooth handling and execution of the booked transports
- Identify the customers’ individual requirements and needs using strong communication skills
- Provide our customers with very individualized and tailor-made transport solutions within a limited time frame
- Support the sales team by being the single and operational point of contact for our key account customers
- Give guidance to new colleagues on solving irregularities and the steps to be taken if these take place
- Create handover protocols and communicate irregularities at end of shift towards other worldwide customer service teams
* Perform other tasks and/or projects, as assigned

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree desirable
- 1+ year in logistics or freight forwarding (life science industry preferred)
- Experience in Life Science Logistics, Pharma Supply Chain or temperature-controlled transport a plus
- Strong knowledge of logistics flows and operational processes required
- Airfreight knowledge desirable
- Fluent in English; one additional language preferred (German, Dutch, French, or Spanish)
- Expert computer skills; MS Office/MS Windows experience
- Strong stress management and customer service skills
- Able to work under time pressure, in shifts, and on weekends
- Legal U.S. work permit and valid driver’s license required
