Your main tasks include, among others

  • Part mark components ready for final inspection.
  • Carry out a final inspection of minor components in order to declare as serviceable.
  • Ensure components are moved to build with the minimum of delay.
  • Ensure shortages of parts for build are identified.
  • Ensure parts are progressed through the final inspection area to meet the needs of the build program.
  • To maintain the required standards of work in order to comply with requirements of the CAA and FAA and any other recognized regulatory body.
  • To maintain required standards of general housekeeping.
  • All duties shall be undertaken in compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company Procedures.
  • An awareness and understanding of responsibilities outlined in the Company’s environmental procedures.

The ideal Marshaller should meet the following requirements:

  • Maths and English GCSE A-C Grades equivalent
  • ‘A’ Level or equivalent qualification in an electrical engineering subject desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Shift work. Monday – Friday or Tuesday - Saturday
  • May require additional overtime hours to be worked
  • Working with computers and screens for prolonged periods
  • Sitting down for majority of working day
  • Workshop has fluctuating temperature dependent upon time of year and operations underway in other production departments
  • Occasional loud noises from machinery and other production department activity
  • Occasional heavy lifting required
  • Able to sit down for prolonged period of time
