Team Leader Aeronautical Text Information

  • Ensure on-time production and high quality of the data
  • Implement a continuous improvement process
  • Personnel management and functional leadership
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and procedures
  • Optimize workflows, methods, and standards to achieve higher quality, reliability and cost-efficiency
  • Shape and implement the current data production workflow to be fit for the future
  • Ensure collaboration with other teams and departments
  • Analyze aeronautical publications (ICAO/EASA/FAA documents, AIP, NOTAM) for changes on a daily basis and incorporate the changes into the corresponding Lido publications
  • Verify the quality of other team members’ work (four eyes principle)
  • Create and maintain process documentation
  • Work on tasks assigned by internal departments

In this role you will lead the Aeronautical Text Team (7 people) and be responsible for the in-time delivery and quality of our Lido Route Manual Airport Operational Information as well for our Lido Route Manual GenPart.

  • Experience within airline flight operations environment
  • Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP, SUP, NOTAMs, etc) knowledge is an advantage
  • Technical degree in an aviation related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in leading and developing people is an advantage
  • Strong collaboration and intercultural skills
  • Pro-active, self-starter, service-oriented and conscientious personality
  • Ability to plan and prioritize one’s own and other people’s work
  • Good organizational and decision-making skills
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set
  • High degree of flexibility, discipline and commitment
  • Strong English skills (written and spoken), German is a plus
