Once you join our team as IT Operations Specialist you will:

  • Provide 2nd / 3rd level support for IT Services within a multicultural and international team
  • Take care for Incident / Change / Problem solution and coordination between Lufthansa Technik  facilities  and Service Provider(s)
  • Serving with consultancy or/and supporting ongoing projects as an expert
  • Participate in the regression testing of in-house fabricated software platform
  • Manage service requests and inquiries
  • Support  IT projects and change management activities
  • Timely elevate and/or escalate to next level/service provider  complex problems
  • Coordinate maintenance downtimes of basic infrastructure components
  • Preparation and update of documentation

To be successful in the role you need:

  • University or college degree in Computer science or similar experience
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Technologies as: Windows Server; Active directory management; DFS; Windows Client OS
  • To be strong team player
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Experience with advanced IT troubleshooting, Windows Server and related enterprise services
  • Very good analytical, problem-solving and  root cause analysis skills
  • Previous experience working in managed environment
  • Basic knowledge in networking
  • ITIL v3 Foundation or higher certification is preferred
  • Ability to operate in high-demand emergency situations
  • Customer and service oriented behavior
