Strategic Product Manager - Mobile Payment (m/f/d)

We are looking for a new team member to join our Strategic Product Management Team to drive the product vision, strategy and roadmap of mobile payment as one of our key directions. Improving customer experience and development of new services requires a distinct business acumen and a strong Product Owner attitude underlined by a sound background of payment technologies and the eco-system.

  • Defining the product vision, strategy and execute the roadmap for this area
  • Exploration and validation of potential use-cases
  • Drive market launches and profitability in joint cooperation with Sales 
  • Accompany and drive market launches in collaboration with Sales and Communications
  • Regularly assess the product regarding its life-cycle and profitability and align with others on the priorities across the entire product portfolio
  • Initiation of according measures and activities feeding into the backlog and the roadmap
  • Development of potential use-cases focussing on product usage, customer-centric design, competition, pricing and trends - based on market, customer and stakeholder feedback
  • Continiously interact with the eco-system and its parts as well as with customers and prospects

  •  Graduated from college or university in business studies or in a comparable field
  • at least three years of work experiences in product operations and/or management
  • Deep understanding of existing and potential future mobile payment scenarios and their business models paired with a distinct business acumen and a Product Owner attitude
  • Creative problem solver and analytical thinker, thinking outside the box without losing focus on priorities
  • Experienced in implementation of mobile payment solutions. Furthermore knowledgeable about the technologies relating to mobile payment
  • Agile product development methodologies such as design thinking, lean startup and scrum have been practiced
  • Independent and reliable working attitude paired with very good communication and English skills
