As a Sales Representative, you will drive revenue growth, develop customer relationships, and acquire new business in the air cargo and logistics industry. You will manage quotations, pricing, bookings, and capacity agreements while identifying profitable opportunities and delivering customer-focused solutions. 

Tasks

  • Achieve sales targets and maximize revenue for assigned accounts.
  • Develop existing customer relationships and acquire new customers.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and manage long-term capacity agreements.
  • Identify business opportunities through market analysis and proactive sales activities.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and sales events to promote Lufthansa Cargo’s products and services.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Key Account Management, Revenue Management, and Handling teams to develop tailored logistics solutions.
  • Promote digital services, including eAWB and other eServices.
  • Manage customer requests, bookings, and follow-up on quotations.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and CRM records.
  • Support customer service processes, including claims and complaints.

Requirements

What are the formal requirements?

  • High school diploma, GED, college degree, or vocational training.
  • 2–3 years of experience in cargo, ideally in sales or within the transport and logistics industry.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and German skills.
  • Knowledge of airfreight, logistics, transportation, or sales is an advantage.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
