Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Maintain, service and repair engines (professionally and on time) within the scope of the qualifications/authorization provided for this purpose
  • Carry out borescoping work and maintenance-supporting activities on engines using the required test procedures if authorized to do so
  • Document work carried out in accordance with existing qualifications and authorization
  • Conscientious handling of operating resources; ensuring order, cleanliness and standards in the workplace
  • Support projects

Requirements

Step into the role of a Senior Engine Mechanic, check the requirements below:

  • Completed technical vocational training, preferably as aircraft mechanic specializing in engine tech
  • Min. 3 years of industry hands-on experience on CFM56-7B & P&W1500 
  • Existing SEM qualification & professional experience in engine overhaul
  • Knowledge of French is required to perform duties related to the position
  • Knowledge of English is also required due to the use of English documents and procedures as well as the necessary communications with our international aviation partners
  • IT skills
  • Willingness to work at home & abroad
  • Willingness to undergo further professional training
  • Suitability for shift work
  • High physical resilience
  • Valid class B driving license
  • Willing to work overtime (on occasion)
  • Must possess a legal work permit in Canada
