Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Act as the primary contractual and commercial interface for assigned key accounts, ensuring delivery of all contractual obligations and maximizing customer value
  • Lead account planning sessions with Customer Success, Sales, and Service teams to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and solution expansion
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, collaborating closely with the Account Executive and Sales Development Manager
  • Monitor account health, customer satisfaction, and performance metrics; develop action plans to address risks and capitalize on growth opportunities
  • Initiate and lead improvement projects for products, processes, and customer experience

Requirements

The ideal Strategic Account Manager must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
  • 2 - 3 years in aviation, account management, customer service, or sales & marketing required
  • Technical/engineering experience is a plus
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German, Spanish and/or Portuguese language desirable
  • Knowledge in aviation MRO, accounting, controlling, financials 
  • MS Office skills as expert
  • Knowledge in SAP, business warehouse, CRM platforms and/or relevant operational systems
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Shift work / overtime
  • Manage constant time pressure
  • Manage high stress levels
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
