Tasks

What you'll do: 

  • Manage local accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations and statutory financial reporting
  • Coordinate Value Added Tax (VAT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and other tax filings, audits, refunds and regulatory requirements
  • Manage cash accounting, bank balances, payments, treasury activities and currency repatriation
  • Ensure compliant invoicing, archiving, vendor/invoice management and payment processing
  • Support Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) reconciliations, month/quarter/year-end closing, accruals and provisions
  • Coordinate legal cases, passenger claims, litigation matters and related provisions
  • Manage corporate compliance, registrations, Power of Attorney (PoA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), e-signatures and statutory reporting
  • Support procurement, Internal Control System (ICS), banking documentation and authorization frameworks
  • Provide country-specific guidance to Global Shared Delivery Center (GSDC) and support local IT administration and business services

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, finance operations, tax compliance, auditing, or business administration
  • Sound knowledge of fiscal laws, taxation principles and Good understanding of local tax regulations and other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication in English, both written and spoken
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • SAP knowledge is desirable

Please note:

  • The position is offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of 2 years
  • You must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in China
