Tasks

This is a highly visible role that offers broad exposure to operational, commercial, & strategic topics. You will work closely with stations, ground handling partners, regional teams & headquarters to drive performance, solve complex challenges, and implement sustainable improvements.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive operational performance/continuous improvement
  • Enhance safety, security, service quality, compliance, reliability & operational efficiency
  • Monitor operational performance indicators
  • Identify opportunities for improvement
  • Lead performance reviews, operational assessments, audits & station visits
  • Analyze trends, root causes & operational risks
  • Develop sustainable corrective actions
  • Act as focal point for operational projects, improvements/strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues at headquarters & across the global network to implement best practices & operational standards
  • Manage supplier performance/foster strong partnerships with stakeholders
  • Provide operational expertise during irregular operations, escalations & critical situations

Depending on business priorities typically ranges between 30%-50% of working time

Requirements

Ready to make an impact across the Americas? Know more about the requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree/equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in Air cargo, aviation, logistics, transportation/comparable operational environment
  • Experience working with suppliers, service providers/operational partners
  • Proven track record of driving operational improvements and solving complex problems
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Americas region
  • Confidence to challenge constructively, drive accountability & hold yourself/others to high standards
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Stakeholder influencing and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent communication
  • Strong project and change management skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong business acumen 
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
