The Original Equipment Innovation division develops and manufactures cabin products, bringing together the extensive experience and expertise of an interdisciplinary team under one roof.
Tasks
The electronics industry evolves rapidly, and you'll help stay ahead of change. During your internship, you'll analyze component end-of-life announcements, monitor existing equipment, and support proactive obsolescence management to help secure our in-flight entertainment systems.
- Gaining practical skills with a focus on strategic and proactive obsolescence management, as well as the analysis and assessment of obsolescence risks
- Career guidance in the field of obsolescence management
- Recording component discontinuations by suppliers and initiating appropriate measures
- Ensuring the monitoring of existing equipment using innovative software
- Participation in meetings and workshops
Behind the scenes
Requirements
- At the time of the internship, you must be enrolled in at least your third semester of a degree program
- You must be enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment and a written certificate of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or the internship must take place between your bachelor’s and master’s programs (Gap Year)
- You have a basic technical understanding of electronic components
- You have strong analytical skills and a talent for strategic thinking
- You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
- You have excellent language skills in both German and English (spoken and written)
