Tasks

The Lufthansa Group is looking for a temporary project manager for its Corporate Communications department - a 18-month position with a truly lasting impact. You’ll help shape the future of communications for a global corporation and leave behind structures that will endure.  

  • Project management for the development of a forward-looking and sustainable communications architecture for the Lufthansa Group.
  • Benchmarking of competitive approaches and new technologies.
  • Analysis of communications tools, processes, channels, and competencies.
  • Development of specific optimization measures with a focus on efficiency, consistency, and reach.
  • Definition of KPIs and performance frameworks for internal and external communication activities.
  • Implementation of the strategy into projects and programs - including time and resource planning.
  • Design of a uniform, group-wide channel and content framework.
  • Development of an organizational structure, operational processes, and governance structures to meet future communication requirements.

Requirements

The role of corporate communications is to build and strengthen the reputation of the Lufthansa Group, its subsidiaries, and its brands among all relevant stakeholders.    

We look forward to receiving your application - here’s what we’re ideally looking for:   

  • University degree
  • Substantial experience in strategic areas and project management, preferably in the field of communications
  • Experience leading and motivating teams (directly, functionally, and on a project basis) with a particular focus on the application of new work methods
  • Experience in an international environment; intercultural sensitivity
  • Proven skills in communication and presentation, leadership, change management, strategic thinking, and negotiation
  • Passion for working within and shaping evolving organizational structures
  • Assertiveness and determination to drive change in a diverse workforce, including at the executive level
  • Fluency in English
