Shape the future of aviation safety with us! Our maintenance team is expanding, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Cat A/B1.2 Aircraft Engineer. 

  • Performing and certifying scheduled inspections, line maintenance, and defect rectification
  • Troubleshooting complex mechanical and avionic systems using approved technical data (AMM, IPC, wiring diagrams)
  • Releasing aircraft to service (CRS) within the scope of your valid EASA Part-66 Category B1.2 license privileges
  • Supervising and signing off the work of unlicensed mechanics, technicians, and apprentices, ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Executing structures and composite repairs as required for light aircraft and piston fleet operations
  • Managing maintenance documentation
  • Applying mandatory updates such as Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs)
  • Enforcing safety regulations
  • Completing maintenance records accurately

LAT PA

The Lufthansa Aviation Training Pilot Academy GmbH in Rostock-Laage is a renowned training
center that accompanies Lufthansa Group pilots during their approximately 24-month training
journey. We are seeking a committed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to strengthen our Maintenance team. 

Requirements

  • A valid EASA Part-66 license in the appropri-ate category (A or B1.2) is required
  • Typically, specific type ratings are needed for the aircraft being maintained, demonstrat-ing expertise on that particular aircraft type
  • Proof of practical activities on the affected aircraft type for at least 6 months or proof of "Practical Training", e.g. with the manufac-turer within the last 6 months
  • Sound knowledge of aeronautical regula-tions, human factors, and relevant mainte-nance procedures is essential
  • To have good communication skills
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Proficient English is required for this role
  • Knowledge of German language is desired but not mandatory
  • Cat B driver`s license is mandatory
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance (ZUP)
