Tasks
- Consult employees & managers
- Oversee & ensure local HR operations
- Process defined key topics, develop & implement overarching concepts
- Develop solutions for HR policy issues, both respecting global guidelines & adjusting to local specifics
- Manage vendors, service providers & (external) lawyers, develop & negotiate contracts (upon approval by manager), monitor service delivery
- Prepare & execute personnel transfers & reorganizations
- Take on (sub-)projects & special tasks for the manager, deputize for the manager
- Collaborate in continuous internal process improvement & documentation
- Perform other tasks and/ or projects, as assigned
- Functional guidance and development of less experienced co-workers, interns, working students and (vocational) trainees
Behind the scenes
Requirements
- Master’s degree and 6 years of professional experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of professional experience, or equivalent
- Preferably in the fields of law, economics, psychology, social sciences or humanities, with a focus on HR or employment law
- Outstanding diplomatic skills and negotiation abilities (including in dealings with co-determination bodies)
- Strong communication skills and high intercultural competence
- Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities in a complex environment
- Fluent in English, additional language a plus
- Severely disabled applicants with equal aptitude are given preferential treatment
