Tasks
The position is accountable to the Training Leader and is responsible for designing, developing and delivering customized training programs and practical workshops. The role also includes training coordination for both external and internal training programs.
- Deliver and coordinate technical, procedural, and onboarding training programmes across the organisation.
- Develop engaging training materials, workshops, and competency-based learning initiatives.
- Support trainer development, employee upskilling, and talent progression.
- Coordinate On-the-Job Training (OJT), assessments, and training records in line with EASA and company requirements.
- Monitor training effectiveness, trainee progress, and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and People & Culture teams to strengthen workforce capability.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and structured feedback to support employee growth and performance.
- Support audits, inspections, authorisations, compliance activities, and general training administration.

Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Engineering and/or Aviation Engineering OR Level 2+ authorisation with 5+ years’ experience OR 5+ years as an educator.
- Train the Trainer qualification or relevant training experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities and projects effectively.
- Motivated, resilient and able to motivate others in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong analytical skills, sound judgement and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrates initiative, professionalism and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Effective time management skills.
- Strong command of English.

About Lufthansa Technik Malta Ltd
Lufthansa Technik Malta Ltd. (LTM) was established in 2003 as a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG (92%) and Air Malta (8%). The MRO service provider (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul), based at Malta International Airport in Luqa, provides its customers with line and base maintenance services for short haul and long haul aircraft in the Airbus A320/A330/340/350 series. Initially specializing in C Checks and comprehensive aircraft modifications, the company has now significantly expanded its service portfolio following the construction of a 64,000 square meter hangar complex. The spectrum of services offered has grown to encompass extensive maintenance work with wide ranging capabilities including structural and composite fibre repairs, complex testing procedures and comprehensive cabin refits. The 600 strong workforce can work on up to three long haul aircraft or five medium and long haul aircraft at any one time in the new hangar complex, expanded to cater for wide body aircraft. The hangars are used primarily for C Checks and aircraft overhauls. Lufthansa Technik Malta also collaborates with the renowned Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) for the purpose of training and apprenticeship schemes. The strategically favorable location in the Mediterranean region of southern Europe, with its proximity to Africa and to the Arabian Peninsula, gives Lufthansa Technik Malta a special role within the Lufthansa Group. Twenty years after the company's founding and with more than 2,000 checks carried out, the high quality standards, cost efficiency and the shortest possible turnaround times places the Malta facility at the forefront of the MRO industry.
