Your main tasks include, among others:
- Lead operationally and disciplinary assigned staff and ensure progress is made on the aircraft in line with the project plan and given targets
- Supervise all aspects of the project and staff performing aircraft maintenance, ensuring all work is scheduled and performed with quality in a productive, safe, and efficient manner
- Hire, discipline, transfer, promote, terminate, provide counseling, recognize, or any other personnel action, to employees assigned
- Assure that aircraft maintenance personnel in his/her bay are properly trained and practice proper handling of parts during the accomplishment of maintenance to maintain adequate preservation of parts during the maintenance process
* Takeover of additional tasks when is required
The ideal Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor must fulfill the following requirements:
- High School Diploma and Diploma as Aircraft Mechanic (preferred)
- Hold Level 2 approval for at least 2 years (or equivalent)
- A&P license (desired) or repairman certificate for the discipline to be supervising (required) or equivalent
- Additional approvals may be required, not limited to:
- Extension for License Staff: Engine run and/or Borescope and/or RII Inspector
- Extension for Unlicensed Staff: In house fabrication (IHF) and/or Oxygen charging and/or Heat treatment and/or Cadmium plating
- Minimum of 3 years of applicable aircraft heavy maintenance experience required
- Excellent technical knowledge of aircrafts, with high levels of exposure to base maintenance
- Experience in Airbus or equivalent
- Fluent in English language
- Must possess a legal work permit in the country of employment
