At all Lufthansa Aviation Training locations, our maintenance facility and aircraft cleaning teams play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across aircraft and facilities.
As a Maintenance Facility and Aircraft Cleaner, your key responsibilities include:
- Performing ground handling tasks, such as operating aircraft towing vehicles and repositioning aircraft to and from designated areas
- Cleaning aircraft exteriors and interiors, including parts and assemblies, using appropriate cleaners, polishes, solvents, and other materials
- Vacuuming carpets, wiping surfaces and windows, and removing waste from seat pockets
- Refilling cleaning and maintenance supplies
- Operating all relevant ground support equipment for aircraft maintenance
- Using industrial cleaning machines to clean hangar floors
- Organizing and arranging equipment, stands, and materials neatly in the hangar
- Keeping maintenance areas around aircraft and hangars clean, as instructed

- Experience in facility or industrial cleaning is beneficial but not required
- Basic knowledge of both English and German
- High level of reliability and punctuality
- Strong team spirit and a friendly, service-oriented attitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Must be eligible for a security clearance in accordance with §7 LuftSiG (ZUP)
- Valid Class B driver’s license

Lufthansa Aviation Training Pilot Academy (LAT PA) is part of the Lufthansa Aviation Training group of companies and is responsible, under the umbrella brand European Flight Academy, for the ab-initio training of airline transport pilots.
